By Donna Westfall – February 27, 2017 – The table was filled with eight people.  The waitress at the Apple Peddler Restaurant kept the coffee cups and tea pot filled with hot liquid.  We were grateful that she didn’t tell us to quiet down. Conversations were going every which way from the exorbitant rates charged by Sutter Coast Hospital and there’s really no negotiating with them, to how many lawsuits does the Friends of Del Norte have on-going, to the removal of the Klamath Dams, to Boxing and boxers, to THE PLAN to redirect Last Chance Grade, to Rumiano’s Cheese Factory not sponsoring the newest Economic Summit.

Normally, conversations and discussions are more orderly allowing one to speak, interrupt, redirect the subject and content. But this morning was closer to a free-for-all. And it was loud and noisy from the get-go.

The public is invited to attend.  Starts at 6 am.  Ends at 7 am.  Currently meeting at the Apple Peddler on Hwy 101 while remodeling is taking place for a couple more days at Fisherman’s Restaurant. Check in, check it out.  Be a part of the dialogue at The Daily Town Hall Meeting started by Bob Berkowitz.
